Our Mission
Petey and Furends is a volunteer-run, foster-based organization that aims to combine best practices within the animal sheltering community with the lifesaving efforts of an animal rescue organization. In doing so, we aim to create a seamless matchmaking experience that will increase the rate of successful adoptions.
Finding the Perfect Match
Petey and Furends uses research-based practices set forth by the ASPCA to assess each animal’s individual personality and to pair you and your family with the dog or cat that is going to be most successful in your home.
Our Matchmakers are trained to be your personal assistants during the adoption process. They are judgment-free and will be there to help you find your perfect pet.
