Story: Lime was rescued from a shelter as a 5 week old kitten. We are so happy to have her and her sister Lemon with us in a foster home. Lime is a happy and sweet young kitten. She spends her days playing with her foster family and littermates and chasing all the fun toys they have.
What my foster says: Lime is curious, smart, and independent! She absolutely loves to play and explore. When she finds herself in a new room, or meeting a new human, or with a new toy, she will do the classic “spooked Halloween cat” pose, but then will head right in to explore the new thing. She likes to pretend that she’s too cool for cuddles and kisses, but somehow I always find her in my lap when I sit down. She absolutely loves her sister Lemon but has been instantly happy when meeting our resident cats, dog, and her new little foster brother. She also loved playing with kids when she got the chance to meet some (after her classic spooked pose, of course!). She’d do great in any family as long as there’s some kind of sibling there with her.
The fee to adopt Lime is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of vaccines appropriate for her age, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in foster. Lime has been seen by a shelter vet (or other vet) and we are not aware of any health issues.
Please note that all kittens under the age of four months old must be adopted to a home with an already existing young cat, or be adopted as a pair (preferably with a sibling!). To learn more about why this is important, visit our blog.
