Story: Birdie is an adorable calico Domestic Short Hair Mix cat, who came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. We are just not sure how she ended up in there, but we are so happy to have her with us now in a foster home! Birdie is a happy and sweet young cat. She spends her days playing with her foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have. When she’s done it’s nap time or cuddling with her humans!
What my foster says: Birdie is the sweetest kitten you can imagine. If you rub her cheeks she'll just melt into your hands. She loves playing with her kitty sister and getting attention from people. Birdie is very friendly and curious. She loves to steal whatever chair you just left!

The fee to adopt Birdie is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of vaccines appropriate for her age, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. Birdie has been seen by a shelter vet (or other vet) and we are not aware of any health issues.
